Hi, I’m Luena
My original plan?
Definitely not advertising.
I started out as a fashion photographer, very set on being freelance, doing my own thing, answering to no one, living the creative dream.
Somewhere along the way I thought… hmm.
What if I could still do what I loved visually, but also have more fun?
Then came advertising.
Between concepting going back to the drawing board a million times, and making possibly questionable but witty ideas in Photoshop, I realized I loved the thrill of it. Building ideas with teams. Shaping narratives. Making work that actually lands.
So no, I don’t want to be freelance anymore. I want to be part of something bigger.
I’m 20 years old, and where I’m from depends on who you ask:
Born in New York City.
High school in East Hampton.
Currently low-key in Portugal.
Different places, different perspectives—same creative brain.
I have a habit of forgetting many of my achievements, but every now and then I look back and realize I’ve actually done some pretty cool stuff. I bring a visual-first mindset, a fashion-trained eye, and a curiosity for how brands communicate culture. I care about how things look—but more importantly, why they exist and how they make people feel.
Still learning. Still evolving.
While Occasionally doing something cool.
